Beck omits own analogy comparing Obama White House to ‘Planet of the Apes’

In a writeup for FoxNews.com, opinion host Glenn Beck appears to have omitted a key phrase that he uttered during a recent broadcast which struck significant controversy online for his comparison of the Obama administration and the science fiction film "Planet of the Apes".

Reacting to a speech President Barack Obama gave on August 4, Beck seemed aghast at the notion that union laborers have helped Democrats push back against corporate special interest groups.

Flailing his arms and pointing at a union insignia behind the president, the Fox News host jeered:

"What planet have I landed on? Did I slip through a worm hole in the middle of the night and this looks like America? It's like the damn Planet of the Apes. Nothing makes sense!"
